We ordered 6 courses and rice tonight. Food was delicious except for two courses which were very sweet(京酱肉丝 and 沙爹肥牛). The 6 courses cost 71.5 GBPs, which was reasonable, however, they also charged 9 GBPs for 3 bowls of white rice. They are pure white rice, not fried or any other fancy rice. I would’ve recommended this restaurant if only the rice wasn’t ridiculously priced.

It's a very authentic-feeling Chinese restaurant at least for someone used to German versions like me. I only had a quick lunch but that was pretty good. Would come back any time.

Just been for a meal in this place food was lovely service fantastic next time I'm in York I will be going back again. The meal I had was my usual order from a Chinese restaurant and all that I can say about the place is well done guys absolutely stuffed with food and enjoyed every mouth full keep up the good work. Paid £44 for a platter and prawn toast and vegetable spring rolls. Had skewers and as shown in the picture they were raw, absolutely vile! Not to standard, the staff management was awful no English speaking manager! The waitress was so lovely and had to deal with it all but we couldn’t, even tip her for her helping us because she would’ve had to share it with the rest of the staff that never cared about the quality of food that came out. Would not recommend
