Situated in the heart of Old Portsmouth opposite the local seafood market, we are a neighbourhood favourite, popular with locals and newcomers alike. Our new menu centres around simplicity and flavour. The spotlight is on locally sourced, exceptional ingredients that speak for themselves. Adam’s passion for food is abundantly evident on every plate, and we look forward to you joining us on our exciting new journey. Our unique world class tasting room accommodates a thriving wine offering, doubling up as a wine retail shop with a portfolio of around 200 wines from around the globe. All of these wines can also be drunk in house in abarbistro, giving our customers one of the biggest and best wine lists in the whole of the south of England. We also offer pre-supper tastings in Camber Wines which are informal, and add an extra dimension to your evening. With an architectural presence, our new plants,” Mother In Laws Tongues”, not only look good, they actually purify the air and absorb toxins. In fact, NASA in its published research said that these plants can absorb up to 107 pollutants from the air making them exceptional air purifiers. Whilst most plants absorb oxygen the Sansevieria converts carbon dioxide and produces pure oxygen, making them the perfect addition to our conservatory Would you be interested in joining our family? Good mussels & soup. Great scallops and terrine. Very good risotto and fish n chips. Excellent ham hock. Lovely Rag and Bone Riesling to wash it down. Great service. All round lovely evening.

Service was slow, though friendly. Wood pigeon starter was served cold, with just a hint of warmth, not what I expected for a cooked dish. The curry sauce was a bit domineering of the mussels, which were well cooked and the sourdough bread was great. The chocolate and rum delice was small for the price, the best that could be said about it was, the presentation was top notch:-(

Nice restaurant with lovely food! We sat in the garden area at the back on a lovely day, it wasn't busy and the place had a nice, calm atmosphere. I had haddock, chips, mushy peas and a lovely home made tartar sauce and it was perfect, perhaps a little on the large side for lunch but I ate it all anyway 😁 The staff were welcoming, pleasant and efficient. Will visit again if in the area

Amazing place to eat. Fish and chips for me was 10 out 10!! Dogs are allowed in the bar and there's seating outside. Friendly staff, good music and atmosphere. Fantastic food, very trendy place to eat. Perfect finish to our family vacation in Portsmouth. Oh there is parking outside but gets busy during the day and it's 24hrs however prices aren't too bad👍
