I wouldn't dare use them if you are thinking of it. Appalling customer service many hidden costs and no control over your own system you paid for!

My husband rang to arrange an appointment for someone to come and advise us on a burglar alarm system. We were given two choices for an appointment time, both on a Saturday - 10.00am or 2.00pm. We chose 2.00pm and were told to expect Stephen Peters. We rearranged our Saturday to suit the appointment. However, at 3.00pm no-one had shown up. My husband rang to be told that not only Stephen Peters was supposed to have been here, but also a female colleague and AGT would find out what had happened and come back to us. At 3.30 when again no-one had arrived and we had heard nothing, I rang AGT to find out what was going on and the guy I spoke to sounded surprised that we hadn't received an email. I said not to bother any further, it wasn't a good start - grossly inefficient - and we woud be better off finding another company. He appeared to agree with me! Feel incredibly disappinted and let down. Ruined what could have been a very good Saturday.

Absolutely appalling and extortionate customer service from this company. We were 'handed over" to ADT from our installation (only) company with no agreement by ourselves as we had no maintenance contract with either company. It took six months to sort this out. We were invoiced for a service visit we had neither requested nor received and then aggressively chased for payment. Despite numerous phone calls and emails from us, ADT departments failed to talk to each other and we were asked for our detaild on three different occasions. Eventually after threatening them with the Ombudsman they cancelled the invoice and the contract we never signed. To add insult to injury we were then advised that if we wanted to use our system we would have to pay for a service visit to reprogramme our system chargeable at £246.00. Unbelievable!
