ADT is a reliable company there is no question. However such big company has a very nasty hidden policy. I bought camera from ADT which was installed. Payment started on instalment to pay back the money. Company will keep on taking the money from you even if you paid back the money. When asked they give you all type of excuses. I will recommend regarding payment keep a reminder in your phone and then inform and cancel your direct debit. I also have to say that their after care engineer visit is rubbish.

Very poor service. Have called several times and still waiting for a reply, from over a month ago. Surely there must be an alarm company out there with better prices and better customer service?

Appalling experience with these guys. Contacted them initially in January. They sent someone over who explained the system they would install and gave me pricing and took a deposit from me, explaining in a couple of weeks I would be contacted with a date they would send an engineer around to set it up. A few months later, still having heard nothing, I contacted ADT asking what had happened. They claimed my contract had been cancelled even though I hadn't requested it (keeping in mind that still had my deposit!) They sent someone over again, same guy, who explained he'd been furloughed and there had been no one looking after our contract. He then proceeded to explain that all their systems had now changed and the introductory price I would have gotten wouldn't apply anymore (so it would work out twice as expensive). He said he would share more details the following day... Never heard from him again. That was in March I think, 3 or so months ago. They still have my deposit. Cannot believe they run a business like this. Avoid..

Dont. starts well then everything bad. customer service the worst of any company ever. i chose not to believe the bad reviews, spend your money somewhere else.
