My name is Alex Cachia Ka-KEE-Ah and I am a full stack web and database developer from Canterbury, Kent.
Since obtaining a BSc in Computer Science, I have gone on to create eCommerce sites, database systems and document management systems for a wide range of clients across Kent.
My aim is to provide simple-to-use, web-based data solutions for SMEs that are fully responsive and entirely bespoke using a combination of techologies.
As well as developing new systems I also provide bug fixes and maintenance to existing sites. This includes, but not limited to: data input, PHP/WordPress errors and new features

Tom Chopin5 StarAlex came in at very short notice to revamp the front end of El Toco's website. This involved following designs produced by our graphic designer in order to standardise pages created by several prior developers and give the whole site a consistent feel. It also entailed making the website fully responsive, as well as ironing out numerous bugs. Alex proved to be a skilled developer in all web programming languages and worked efficiently to create pages which exactly matched the designs. This entailed a number of on the fly tweaks as are usual when implementing a design in code, but these were accommodated with no hassle. Alex has a very cheerful positive attitude to work which made the project very pleasant and we would highly recommend her for any web development.Wednesday 8th June 2022
Karen Scott5 StarAlex worked with futureCodersSE on the production of a prototype app called WhatsItLike. I was particularly keen to work with Alex, having taught her a number of years ago and having seen the great work she has done with CodeHarbour. Her brief was very vague, the project was quite experimental at that stage, and I wanted her to write it using React so that I could more easily take it to the next stage. This was at quite an early stage of her use of React and so the job was demanding, especially as we could only work on a part-time basis.
Alex delivered, did lots of learning and more than met expectations.

After an initial conversation, I knew that Alex understood our requirements and had the capability to deliver what we required. Alex worked throughout our brief, adapting where necessary to meet our needs and clearly communicating what progress had been made along the way. With the unknown challenges of working with a 3rd party data centre and over a decades worth of data, Alex did an excellent job in making sure we securely moved everything onto the new platform without any loss of data or downtime.
