Fabulous experience: prompt, provided excellent tracking and couldn't be more helpful either on the day or on the phone

The drivers were really helpful, even carried my boxes inside. Everything went smooth, would hire again!

The delivery driver provided an early estimate and regular updates for his arrival. He was friendly and professional, an...

As per everything else these days. AnyVan are just another firm on the make. Time slot given 9 to 12. They show up at 12.20. So a whole morning wasted. First thing the gentleman says as he walks in is that he’ll need to charge extra for sofa……apparently because it is a recliner……then he’ll charge me extra for bed being on first floor (imagine a bed being in a bedroom in a house!) and then extra because of headboard! He then tells me that the door is very tight………. I thought I was hiring removal people who were used to removing furniture. It appears only furniture that is different from furniture that my Mum used to own……. Obviously, AnyVan have a perfect scam going on here because I’m going to have to pay the extra or they won’t move my stuff. For reference I attach photos of the “nonstandard” bed and sofa. That cost me an extra £85!

I paid premium packing service and they let cowboys into my home. They had no packing materials and put all my belongings into black plastic bags. The van was not big enough and the move for a 2 bed home took from 9 to midnight only 25 miles away. I have damaged furniture which I am seeking insurance payment for and anyvan are stalling on a refund. I have pictures of how they treated my home and the emotional damage to myself and my disabled son is immense. Yet anyvan have taken no responsibility or steps to make amends after a week. Avoid! They are scammers. We will be going further if they do not resolve through legal recourse. Just a few pictures of how unsafe they left it.

Reference: AV 7979124 Really disappointing service from Anyvan, creating a lot of stress on moving day with no customer support. I would not recommend this company. Unless you can detail every single thing they take no responsibility, so when you have a completely full 20ft container that you haven’t accessed in 2 years but has been clearly communicated and they send a van that is too small (17ft volume), they will refuse to provide any form of support because in my instance a second mattress was not recorded. A lot of hassle and very poor customer service. This is not the customer experience you need when dealing with everything else in a home move! (picture shows the amount of stuff not collected by Anyvan due to their miscalculations)

Booking reference number: AV 801 5585 I can hardly contain my frustration over the dreadful experience I've had with what they claim to be 'The UK’s Preferred Delivery, Removals, and Transport Marketplace.' To label it a mere nightmare would be an understatement. If I had the option, I'd assign them a rating of zero stars without a second thought. This has easily been the most infuriating and distressing ordeal of my life, and it's something I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. Despite coming across seemingly positive reviews on Trustpilot, I'm now strongly inclined to believe that the majority of those testimonials are nothing short of elaborate fabrications. How else can the glaring discrepancy between my catastrophic encounter and those supposed 'positive' experiences be justified? It's as if I've been led into an alternate dimension where basic professionalism and competence hold no value. Let's dive into the specifics: I had gone to great lengths to arrange and pay a significant sum for the secure transportation of my monitor—a crucial and valuable item for both work and leisure. However, upon the arrival of my belongings at my new residence, my monitor resembled something that had withstood a natural disaster. The display was fractured into a chaotic web of cracks, rendering it utterly useless. The fact that they managed to transform a perfectly functional monitor into a worthless piece of wreckage is nothing short of astonishing. And to exacerbate the situation, it appeared that there was a lingering odor of alcohol about the moving crew. While I comprehend that everyone is entitled to their leisure time, I can't help but question whether this impacted their ability to execute the job competently. The frustration over the damages resulting from the move is compounded by the uncertainty of whether one of the crew members might have been dealing with a hangover—this speculation introduces a new layer of concern altogether. The complete disregard for my possessions and the blatant absence of professionalism has left me utterly irate. The proficiency with which this company managed to turn what should have been a routine move into an unmitigated catastrophe is, quite frankly, astounding. This goes beyond just a broken monitor; it speaks to fundamental principles and honesty. The favorable reviews that initially caught my attention now appear to be a cruel mockery, and I can't shake the feeling that I've fallen victim to a company more interested in misleading customers than offering a legitimate service. I'm resolute in my determination to share my harrowing experience far and wide. People deserve to be informed, and they deserve to be cautioned against stepping into the same trap I did.

In the realm of service, professionalism is not merely an expectation; it is a commitment to the client. Regrettably, our experience with this moving service fell woefully short of even the most basic standards of professional conduct. We had scheduled a three-hour window for our move, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., a detail confirmed via text message the day prior. Imagine our surprise when, upon tracking the van out of mere curiosity the night before, we discovered a revised time slot of 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. subtly embedded in the fine print. While this was an inconvenience, we adapted, prepared to commence at 8 a.m. sharp. The crux of our grievance lies in the driver's conduct. Arriving earlier than the already rescheduled time, he had the audacity to express his displeasure at having to wait for a mere 20 minutes. Such a complaint is not only unprofessional but also entirely misplaced, as the onus of time management falls squarely on the service provider, not the client. Compounding the issue was an unforeseen circumstance: our building's lift malfunctioned overnight. While we were amenable to rescheduling the move—even willing to incur the additional £50 fee—the driver's response was nothing short of petulant. He made it abundantly clear that he had no intention of moving our items without the aid of the lift, a point we had neither raised nor expected him to consider. It is disheartening to note that our experience stands in stark contrast to the glowing reviews this company generally receives. One cannot help but wonder if we were merely unfortunate or if this lapse in professionalism is indicative of a deeper issue within the organization. In either case, we shall be advising our social circle to exercise caution and consider alternative options for their moving needs. The essence of any service lies not just in its efficiency but in the dignity and respect with which it treats its clients. On this occasion, sadly, both were found wanting.
