Garage demolished, Deep base dugout for patio, and garden path base cut out as well. Three of the hottest days ever, and they worked right through. Just as I thought they had worked hard, and after 10 hours were going to finish, they hammer drilled an 8-inch concrete base, 16 feet long, and 10 feet wide that had cracked over the years. The patio and path were quite tricky to lay, as we had chosen hand-cut slabs of Scottish slate. Excellent tradesman. Alex and his assistant met me at the suppliers to collect the materials and brought these to my house. Both guys are very courteous and did a wonderful job. Started on time and completed exactly at the estimated time. Any other job going, Alex will get the first call. Friendly, helpful and hard-working, could not ask for more.
