For our private homeowner clients, we arrange visit to site and discuss your requirements, recommend the best options for you and we can also recommend Quantity Surveyors & Architects if needed who we work with & trust on a regular basis. This allows us to provide you with an accurate quotation.

Once budgets are approved and timings agreed we have the work force & resources to get work swiftly underway. Our project management process ensures that the work is carried out to a consistently high standard following planned schedules and within the agreed budget. Each site has an appointed senior site member or Foreman to ensure high standards are met always. They will be on site daily to discuss any issues and keep our clients informed at all times.

Beard and Tandy offer a full guarantee of all work carried out and we have a proven history of communicating and rectifying client’s questions or concerns long after we have completed.

Work carried out on my house was outstanding and done to a very high standard. But that's not why I'm leaving the review. The reason I'm leaving the review is the workers were so polite. Very helpful and respectful. I felt at ease leaving the lads to work on my home on there own. Always left it tidy and safe for the kids. Price was competitive and was around my budget so no complaints on this. Site foreman always discussed what was happening and what was next. All round a fantastic family run local firm. Thankyou very much Beard and Tandy.

Beard and Tandy carried out work on my property for the best part of 2019. This involved demolishing a conservatory and bedroom/bathroom extension, followed by the construction of conservatory, kitchen, bedroom, en suite bathroom and shower room in a contemporary style. The work-site was a difficult one due to access constraints and a steep slope, but they took this in their stride. I found them to be a very reliable, professional and trustworthy company. They delivered what we wanted, pretty much on budget, and finished to a high standard. In the 3 months since project completion no problems have arisen. I have no complaints about them, and would have no hesitation in recommending them to other potential clients.

Beard and Tandy (B&T) were the builders who completed a very extensive renovation on a property we purchased in Gloucestershire whilst still living in Germany at that time. B&T provided an excellent service throughout and completed all work to the highest standards. Of particular note was the speed and efficiency in which they dealt with questions and issues and the fact that they made themselves available on site when we dashed back from Germany for progress reports and discussions on the best way forward. B&T kept to the schedule and within the agreed budget and were also extremely good at coming back to the site after completion to deal with the very few, and minor, snagging issues that emerged. We have been in our house for just over 2 years now and are still absolutely delighted with the work, and service, which we received from B&T. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to any future customer. B&T did a great job for us, had a excellent work ethos and more than fulfilled our expectations. In my opinion, and based on my experience, they deserve an excellent review.

It is sad to read all the negative anonymous reviews, I personally have no problem in leaving my name when i write a review good or bad and i think that this shows throughout your reviews for your company, those that have left names are genuine customers so Mark, John & Nicola you just continue doing what you are doing, delivering fab work, your attentiveness to detail and your work ethnic is beyond what i have ever experienced, your team are also a massive credit to you. I am more than happy with the work you done for me, the quality is fabulous and i will definitely use you in the future should i need anymore building work done.

Very disappointing, very chaotic, not enough qualified tradesmen, you need to be permanently onsite to check work or come home to headaches. Some of their workmanship is not the standard we were expecting and unfortunately they don,t seem to care. if thinking of using these builders I would call or visit previous customers of your choice and ask them directly. Purchase your own materials, this will confirm materials are onsite when the they arrive and will prevent poor materials being used plus saving £ . I have had to employ a more customer focused builder at extra cost to achieve the correct finished product. After sales service is challenging, trying to get them back once invoices paid is impossible. Caused lots of unnecessary stress. I would not recommend this company.
