Bentley School of Motoring has been in business for over 10 years in the Bradford area. We have a great reputation for a high pass rate and punctual and efficient service. We pride ourselves on giving you the most professional service in the Area with our highly qualified driving instructors.
Our driving instructors are all locally based so they know the areas around where you live. This means they can pick the most suitable areas to teach you the various subjects and manoeuvres in order to pass your driving test. There are various nursery areas for driving lessons in Bradford to start your driving lessons if you are a beginner. For example we might start your first lesson in a quieter estate such as Thorpe edge or Buttershaw. We would then progress to busier junctions as your skills and confidence grows.
If you already have some driving experience we would carry out a driving assessment to see what level you are at and then work out a plan of action to get you up to driving test standard.
There are two driving test centres in Bradford. One is in Thornbury located near to the border of Bradford and Leeds. Test routes can go either way and usually include some lane changing possibly near to the stanningley by-pass area or wakefield road area. The other test centre is situated in Heaton and can include going into Bradford city centre or out to places such as Bingley.

Z Lee5 StarMy brilliant driving instructor Muhammad Rashid, who I have been having lessons with for a few weeks now, has progressed me very well. He has given me much more confidence in the way I drive compared to my previous instructor. With Muhammad I have learned many methods and am able to drive smoothly on roads (not like a learner but like an experienced driver). I have never had any issues with booking lessons. Muhammad speaks with in a very kind manner and has no means to ever change this. I recommend Bentley school and definitely Muhammad as an outstanding instructor.

Jack McQuillen5 StarMy instructor is Mohammed Rashid and I am very happy with his teaching. He is calm, patient encourages me to improve every lesson. His support has made me test ready in the 3 months he’s been teaching me. My last instructor would always get annoyed at the slightest mistake and give up trying to help but Mohammed stayed calm and never lost his temper. Sam Milne5 StarI am very satisfied with my experience of learning to drive. Paul is very kind and calm, which helped to settle my nerves when I first started to learn. Furthermore, despite lockdowns keeping me away from the wheel, Paul was brilliant in keeping in touch with me and helping me pick up where I left off! I was able to pass my theory and practical driving tests first time due to the friendly and expert instructing I was given. foteini kefala1 StarMy driving instructor was Mohammed Rashid. I took lessons with him almost every week until April. He was very, very slow to progress me, stating he felt I wasn't ready every time I asked to move on to different things. I noticed he is a very impatient teacher with a short temper who put me under pressure almost every lesson. I spent almost 10 months in quiet roads. I never drive on dual carriageways, no manoeuvres, never teach me how to use 4th & 5th gear.
I was feeling like I am not getting closer to my test. Every lesson just seemed to be the same thing over and over again and it became extremely frustrating. He was always arriving late for lessons but ending lessons on time. Sometimes by as much as 20 minutes.
I received a very poor service.
My next experience proved to me it only takes a few months maximum with a good instructor to pass. I eventually switched instructor. This new instructor was absolutely brilliant. After two months of lessons with him, practicing several routes, he deemed me ready for the test and I passed in my first attempt.
In conclusion, I admit it was my fault for being patient for so long, but I can't take it back now and can only warn that you stay away yourself.Tuesday 5th July 2022
