Lovely little pub. I enjoy coming here to have food with my family and friends. We enjoy coming to the quiz on a Wednesday which is always good fun. Meals are lovely and drinks are nice and cheap. We look forward to seeing use again on Wednesday

Brilliant little pub. I love coming here to have a catch up with friends. We all met up the other day and had a really good night. The staff were lovely all really friendly and drinks were nice and cheap. Will be coming here again for food and drinks next time

Great beer garden...but could definitely benefit from an update. Flagged area is uneven and i would consider dangerous. Bit of a step down from flags to lawn Tricky enough without alcohol. Benches even a lick of paint could help. Decent prices for the area. Friendly, polite, pleasant and efficient bar staff, let down by miserable glass collectors...who are ill mannered without cause. Inside bars are ok, reasonable cleanliness. Toilets are hit and miss, but they are cleaned regularly. Visited frequently in hope my opinion would change as its local and i enjoy a beer..selection in tap is very good as well...unfortunately it remains other concerns remain the same. I wish them well but this beer lover will be frequenting elsewhere.

I come in every day for a pint and to read my paper. The staff are always lovely and treat me with a nice smile when I come in. I always have a pleasant experience and pints are always of the best quality. Nikki is a wonderful barmaid

I ordered the signature stack burger and omg it lived up to its name it’s better than….. Camilla don’t ever leave the black horse you are an amazing chef and Nikki was lovely on the bar xx
