Went in today, table at window was still covered in plates cups etc. we ordered food and I had to sk for table to be cleared. The guy just took plates away and threw clean napkins down which touched the food spilled by the previous customers. I went up and asked for someone to clean the table, which he eventually did but said to my partner to go and collect our own food. Place was filthy, in need of a good clean. Ledges we’re covered in dust and chairs obviously haven’t been hoovered for days. Really disappointed.

Friendly and helpful staff, tasty cakes and coffee. Well appointed, lovely wee outdoor are through the back as well as a couple of outdoor tables at shop front.

Got into the shop yesterday arround miday .Entering the shop a yound employee was watching his phone, not a welcome or sth.The table we sat looked clean but were crumbs in the chairs and tiny pieces of cake at the table.When the order came the employee( not the beared one) hit the cups in the tsble, making a noice.I know you can study or need extra rmcome for your university but please learn what means customer service,othrrwise stay st home

Pleasant enough place, a bit lacking in atmosphere. The black forest gateau was very nice. Parking was a bit of a pain. Most nearby seems to be limited to 45 mins, not ideal if you want to relax and have a chat. I know this is not the responsibility of the cafe but it still makes a difference to the experience.

Big space, always seats. Nice coffee. A good chunk of the staff are horrendously rude unfortunately. There's 2 or 3 that are very pleasant and can't be nicer to you however there's two lads that look at you like you've asked them for the lottery numbers when you order anything and twice I've been watched by staff as I clear a table so we can sit there (when its not busy) . People can always have bad days and I don't need the red carpet rolled out for me but just being professional doesn't cost much. As I say it's puts a damper on the staff that are actually great.
