I had a self-installed cctv system that was okay but when I needed to make use of it I realised just how poor the image quality was. I called Cameratec and Rob came out quickly, gave me an appraisal and recommended some upgrades. We did it in 3 stages to suit my budget. First was the recorder and that gave me the facility to have HD cameras installed. The two most important were done next followed by the remaining two. Now I have an excellent system that I can access from anywhere 10/10 from a company that knows what to do without ripping you off like do many others do. There are some out there who will be cheaper but it really isn't worth saving a few quid to have an inferior job done.

Following a spate of cars being stolen from properties within our sleepy Rutland village I decided to contact Cameratec. Rob Harrison, one of their Directors, conducted a free security survey of our property to identify any potential points for concern. We were then presented with a report showing the relevant CCTV solution. Rob recommended 4 HD CCTV cameras that could be accessed remotely by our mobile phones allowing us to see real-time feeds. This is ideal as we travel outside of the UK often and the ability to open an app and check our property is safe and secure is ideal – It gives us real peace of mind. We also selected to have an advanced door entry system fitted. When someone rings our doorbell, it sends an alert to our mobiles, we can then see who is at the door and speak with the delivery person. Then release the lock to our front door allowing restricted access to our porch for them to leave any packages if we wish. The delivery person doesn’t even know we’re not home! Thanks for an amazing service Rob – the cameras are first rate and your prices were very good! Unlike other security specialists you didn't try and sell us more cameras and equipment than we needed.
