Do NOT trust this plumber Chris Gould from Iver. He made us pay £1550 in advance for a bath tap (550) and a cylinder (1000) for our boiler room. We never received the receipts and decided not to get the cylinder installed. We have asked him to refund us £1000 at least 5 times over 2 weeks but he has totally ignored it. We are going to take him to court now. His company's name is CG Plumbing and recently it went off of check a trade where we booked him from. Please do not trust him.

Do NOT trust this plumber Chris Gould. He will ask for money upfront and then disappear! This plumber Chris Gould (CG Plumbing Services 77 Pinewood Green, Iver SL0 0QN), He made us pay £500 in advance for materials to do the job. I found him about 8 months ago on Checktrade. His initial work 8 months ago was ok and I decided to reuse him, this was repairing a boiler which had issues with the pump. Before contacting him, I checked his website and noticed that he was he was claiming to be still with Checkatrade. So, I contacted him to come and give me a price to do the job. He gave me a price of a £1250 to do everything but he needed £500 upfront for him to be able to buy the material. I trusted him because I had used him before and he was also recommended by your company Checkatrade. I transferred £500 into the account number that he gave me! unfortunately, this is the last time I have seen him he has not answered his telephone he has not answered any of my messages or texts I have sent him. After doing a bit of research in regards to him as he wasn't answering his telephone anymore, I found out that he claimed to be corgi registered but that's not the case He has been kicked off Checkatrade. Basically, all the information he has provided on his website is lies. Furthermore, I also found out that he was doing exactly the same thing to other people. See the Google review by another customer. He will also refuse to provide you with any type of receipt. I don't understand if you can earn good honest money why do you need to steal from honest hard-working people?
