steve winfield5 StarHad a load of dashboard faults on a newly converted camper van. Already been in another garage twice for resolving but after attempt number two they suggested I book in here, so I did.
60 minutes with them and it's all sorted, so asked them to install me a twin usb port for in the cab and they did a brilliant job of this too.
On top of sorting the jobs they're also very reasonable on prices.

Jonny Davey5 StarBrought my VW to these guys with a parking sensor problem. Had already taken it to VW dealer who told me they were unable to diagnose a specific fault, after running their £65 diagnostic analysis, so they'd have to take the front & rear bumpers off & test each sensor plus wiring individually with no idea how much it would cost but no doubt £££££s.
Spoke to Martin on phone then also Steve on drop off at Chesterfield Auto Electrical. They called me 3 hrs later with it all sorted. Turns out with some detective work it was a problem with the control box for the sensor system. A quick fuse replacement giving a higher voltage sorted it. Steve did try explaining it all to me via an electrical map on the laptop but it went way over my head real quick!
No doubt VW would have eventually diagnosed the fault & recommended a new control box requiring factory coding etc costing loads.
Straight up guys who know what they are doing & don't charge an arm & leg to sort your problems. I'd recommend them to anyone with electrical issues.Wednesday 9th September 2020
