Jo Dent5 StarGreat location for staying whilst my dad was in the Freeman hospital with brilliant links to public transport.
The room was small but well equipped and nicely decorated.
Breakfast was nice on both mornings though the second day a burst hot water tank meant the breakfasts were cold options only. These things happen!!
The pub food which we had on an evening was great and reasonably priced. The staff were really friendly. All at a great price. I'd definitely recommend!Friday 22nd July 2022
Dobbers Kendo4 StarAlways very pleasant and helpful staff, nice pint and range of spirits/other bottled drinks improved recently. Good standard food and requested variation to menu accommodated without any fuss. Nice atmosphere and understand there is usually music on Friday night. I'm not bothered by it but if you want a quiet place to stay not really right as can hear the bar downstairs.

Martin Gardner5 StarI was really impressed with this pub today, the staff were absolutely lovely, incredibly friendly and helpful and the epitome of service with a smile. The food was good and very reasonably priced. Dogs are welcome too. Will visit again.Sunday 5th June 2022
