Covent Garden Dragon Hall Trust

Dragon Hall is continuing with activities and room hire in our building – still with some extra protocols to ensure the health and safety of all users.

During the pandemic Dragon Hall staff took our activities and services online, making ongoing contact with all of our usual users – over 55s who come to our activities (550 members), young people, children and parents who come to our After School Club sessions. We kept in touch via email, text, whatsapp and direct phone calls. We set up online sessions and organised volunteer help with shopping and food. We partnered with Covent Garden Community Centre to set up the Covent Garden Food Bank.

We worked closely with other organisations to develop a pool of volunteers who helped on the phone line, with delivery of food to the shielding and vulnerable and to provide information and relief to residents.

Was working there during an Erasmus project, and I've got to say, they are one of the most likable and memorable people I've had the opportunity to meet, during my stay in London. Thank you, hope we see again. :)

Good place to go for all kinds of clubs. I mostly go to the coding events and they are great! Their website isn't that helpful for timings. Also not a big place either.

Great charity run community centre and edu-tech Hub. Under privileged children get VIP treatment and access to Tech such as Raspberry Pi, Coding school, 3D Printers, doodlepens, Makey Makey. Minecraft etc. Committed and caring staff and volunteers make it all happen. Excellent rooms for hire at very competitive prices.
