Neil Hogg5 StarI discovered to my horror that the axle stub nuts on the rear wheels of my BMW E89 had simply rotted away. A quick trawl of the internet showed that it is a common problem on BMWs where the design means axle nuts are not protected from the weather. I took my car to two garages who tried to remove the stub nuts to no avail. While at Black Boots in Chesham for wheel alignment (they also had a brief attempt before stopping because of the risk of irreparable damage) they recommended CPC. I booked the car in there and then over the phone and a week later Mike set about getting the stub nuts off. With replacement axles looking likely but OEM ones no longer available, he redoubled his efforts and managed to remove both nuts, clean and reprofile the threads, tidy the whole thing up and fit the new nuts I had provided. He finished off the job with a protective cover of grease. A couple of weeks later I popped back, and he did a final check to ensure they hadn't moved. Sorted for just 150 mins labour. Bally Bansel1 StarAfter calling and calling and calling, leaving 3 voicemail messages, over a period of 3 days, no one has bothered to get back to me, or even pick up the phone. Appauling customer service, crazy thing is I have met Phil and he is a sound guy, but this is no way to run a business. I get they might be busy, but 3 days is enough for anyone to get back to a customer. Now looking for another specialist.Thursday 16th December 2021
Simon5 StarJust want to say thank you to Phil and the team at CPC. I had been failed by two garages prior, then found CPC on the web. They diagnosed and fixed the issue on my BMW 116i. Anyone having oil pressure light coming on , on a BMW N43 engine - go to these guys they are BMW specialists - real professionals and very reasonable. So impressed by the outcome, happy to travel back and have my future service done at CPCSaturday 29th May 2021
