A leak developed under the tiling of my kitchen floor. My thanks to the plumbers, Phil, Kevin and Peter. It turned out to be a difficult job, hence 3 of them. They were all friendly, conscientious, helpful and informed me of every step they did and kept any inconvenience to a minimum. I am also very grateful to Curtis & Carder for their prompt attention and should be happy to recommend them.

Came to fix a very slow leak to toilet waste pipe. Cracked the cistern while working and charged over £800! Gaining redress was much harder than it should have been and I paid over the odds for what should have been a simple repair. Avoid.

Curtis & Carder took 4 months and cost nearly £7k to fix a leak and retile the shower. In the end because they had made several mis-diagnoses we had to find the leak ourselves and show them. Communication from Stuart and the head office was really poor, I never knew what days the plumber would come and Stuart was unresponsive to calls or messages when there were problems with the work (e.g. they didn't fix a seal to the bottom of the shower screen so water poured out). The plumbers themselves were nice guys.

Had Curtis & Carder come round to do some small repairs and service. They were brilliant. Professional, turned up on time, courteous and responsive. Would highly recommend them. And will be using them again.

Having used the business for general boiler maintenance the experience of a larger bathroom task seemed too much for them, no quotation, inexperience on the job and very poor value. I Preferred to stop the job half way through and find alternative skilled labour. A shame having wanted to keep the job with a local firm. Get firm quotes first!
