In the beginning we were 'Dragon Car Audio and Security' however we ceased to supply, or fit, audio products some years ago. For this reason, we have updated our site and moved to the more suitable name of 'Dragon Car Alarms .co.uk'. This website shows all our current products, most with detailed product information, and expect to add new products as they appear on the market.

We offer car security systems fitted at our base in Fareham (see contact us page).

We provide a zero percent finance with a pay assist service. Here customers can choose to pay the full price as 4 equal monthly payments with the first quarter paid at the time of installation. Customers then make three further payments over the next three months.

Thatcham Approved Alarm Systems

We provide Thatcham Approved alarm systems for Insurance purposes and Thatcham rated tracking systems for a range of vehicles. Thatcham Category 1 alarms are ideal for cars and vans with Thatcham Cat 1 upgrade systems required for newer CANBus vehicles, where the electrical systems are all integrated and run off a car central backbone circuit. Thatcham Category 2 car immobilisers are now an insurance minimum requirement for all UK cars. Thatcham Category S5 VTS Vehicle Tracking Systems will give Insurance compliance and protection for all types of vehicle. Trackers require a monitoring subscription to remain compliant. Customers can also choose to upgrade to a Category S5 VTS Immobiliser for everytime stop immobilisation.

We provide many excellent vehicle security products that are not Thatcham Approved. These include Engine Remote Start alarms, Clifford SmartStart, the Autowatch Ghost Immobiliser and the Pandora Storm immobiliser.

Great experience at Dragon Car Alarms today. I decided to work from the waiting area and Inti was a great host. He found me a table, made me coffee and gave me biscuits! He worked on my 80s Peugeot and took real care with the brittle plastics. The install is flawless and he went out of his way to avoid drilling any holes into metal panels to avoid rust. Such a nice guy and professional service. Can't thank him enough.

We were recommended to use this company around 7 years ago and we were very impressed with the product and the workmanship. Over the last 6 months we decided to install new alarms in all our other vehicles and again the professionalism of Inti throughout has been outstanding. Have used this company over the years to install trackers, immobilisers, alarms and more recently car play. Always professional, after sales support is some of the best I have experienced, twice have had instant phone support when I have needed it, and fixed over a call too. I contacted Inti at Dragon Alarms looking for an alarm system for my new A Class Motorhome. Inti was very knowledgeable and so ten days later the alarm system was fitted. On collection Inti explained the work he had carried out and how to use the system. Excellent service and I would recommend.
