I hired them for a boiler powerflush via Plumbforce Direct. This company works as a subcontratcor for them. They charged almost double the next highest price I'd seen and demanded half payment up front. It was cold and they were moving fast, so I went for it. On the day, they showed up half an hour late. The powerflush actually went fine, but they left in a hurry before letting the radiators warm up. I asked them to stay to ensure it worked, but they insisted on leaving. Marcel Milton told me I was "backing him into a corner" by asking him to ensure the heat actually came back on. Naturally, when they left, the radiators did not get hot within an hour. I called them for help but neither of the numbers I called were answered. After some debugging, I realised they left the valve on the filter closed, so there was literally no way any hot water could possibly flow. Next I discovered that they left one of the radiators closed and empty, which meant I had to open and then bleed the radiator before it could work. Lastly, they changed the balance of the system such that only half of the radiators turned back on at all. I had to call another boiler technician and have him debug the issue before I could get the heat back on. They spilled water all over the floor of my boiler cupboard. They left their garbage and lunch wrappers on top of my washing machine. They refused to wear masks inside the house in the middle of the COVID pandemic, despite me asking them repeatedly to please wear a mask. I even gave them FFP-3 masks to wear. They took them off as soon as I wasn't looking. In short, it was a very bad experience.
