Gillian Bowes5 StarMy wife’s back was a problem so we decided last minute to rent a car instead of taking the train - we felt that sitting up would be painful. Doris helped us organize a car to drive to Cornwall and drop off in Plymouth. As things progressed the back started to feel a lot better and we changed out minds about the car, which my husband had already picked up. We contacted Doris and she credited us back and took the car back after they were officially closed on a Saturday after 12 noon. She was courteous and helpful throughout the whole procedure.Her last comment to us was to get home safely. Matt Saul2 StarHopeless, I wish I'd read the many negative reviews already posted here, not that I think the front office staff are to blame, it's a badly managed business. I booked a car with five days notice and hey presto on the day I'm supposed to collect it, they don't have it, or anything similar. At least the staff were apologetic, I get the feeling though that they have to do it a lot. The C-suite should be squirming in embarrassment but I doubt that this will ever cross their overpaid desks. Try AVIS.Wednesday 6th July 2022

S.Yun_traveller1 StarWe've booked everything during the weekend but were notified through email early in the Monday morning that there was no car available for us when we were supposed to pick up our car in 2 hours time. This is extremely unacceptable. We have called to the car center and our calls were re-directed numerous times but we received NO solutions to our situation. They gave us the excuse that we have booked our car too late and they don't have sufficient time to prepare the car for us. OH REALLY?! THEN PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DON'T CONFIRM OUR BOOKING BECAUSE YOUR WEBSITE IS SHOWING IT IS AVAILABLE.
We need to go through lots of hassle to book the car from another company at the very, very last minute.
This car rental company is utterly disappointing. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO RENT THE CAR FROM THEM. Please make sure you give us FULL refund our I WILL NOT HESITATE to take further actions.Monday 28th March 2022
