Contemporary Barbers… high end finish and attention to detail. Full re-style, long hair cut off, showed reference material of hairstyle I wanted and Kerri nailed it. Considering she hasn’t cut my hair before the brief I gave was exactly what I walked away with… In addition smartened up my beard, straight razor edges with an exemplary finish. Worth it? In my opinion yes… I get my hair cut every 4-6 weeks which is 10-12 times a year. I’ve been to over a dozen barbers in Southampton, looks like I’ve found my spot. This haircut has grown in really well and the way she cut it really impressed me If you haven’t been check it out, park right outside; couple of quid in the meter…. Fresh trim then wander down Oxford Street for Coffee

I had an appointment earlier today and it was truly fantastic! Ted is an apprentice, but I would never guess that judging from how perfect service he delivered. This professionalism, confidence and experience were on the highest level. Atmosphere was awesome, everyone was extremely friendly and kind. Best place to have a haircut in Southampton. I will definitely come back. Will be recommending to my friends and family!

Equinox are in a league of their own. Aside from the perfect haircut every time, the staff at equinox are genuinely lovely which is immediately obvious when you walk in. The atmosphere in the shop is brilliant and very accommodating. Claire cuts my hair and within 2 minutes of being in the seat with her the first time, I knew I would be a repeat customer. She took the time to learn and get to know my head of hair, all the fine details and preferences , which ultimately leads to amazing results. Price wise, you will find cheaper barbers in town but don’t scrimp on what matters - you pay for what you get! The booking system is also really easy to use and super convenient.

UPDATE - After 3 years of going to Equinox on a regular basis, it is still the best place in the area. Kerri, Claire, Mia and the rest of the team are excellent. Why would I go elsewhere? ;-) ORIGINAL POST 3 years ago: Probably the best haircut I have had in many years. The place has an immediate welcoming feel with its Victorian style and lounge area. Kerri listened to what I was after. The finished result was perfect. At long last I have found the perfect Gents barbers. Will now be my regular GoTo.

Been a client of Equinox Gentleman's Refinery Barbers for just under a year now and after trying various Barbers prior to Equinox, I can honestly say, they are by far the best I have experienced. Kerri, Claire & Mia create a very friendly and professional atmosphere along with making you feel so relaxed and at ease the moment you walk through the door. The waiting facilities, along with the design and decor are second to none, which gives a feel that you know you are in the right place. The results from their hair and beard grooming, along with sound advice, is the best I've experienced. I have no need to go anywhere else and I would highly recommend Equinox to anyone who is looking for a sharp, smart look.
