I started my jewellery making journey about fifteen years ago; beginning with textiles and glass beads but then swiftly moving on to working with and manipulating silver. I now produce unique, handmade jewellery pieces which are mostly made in silver, incorporating precious stones and hints of gold. Jewellery commissions can be discussed and would also be gladly undertaken. My jewellery is inspired by the style of ancient and archaeological pieces and natural forms and aspires to have a very handmade and almost 'dug up' look. I almost feel that my own background subconsciously filters into my designs. Most of the work has been hand forged but more recently I've been using the lost wax casting process. Vibrant colour always plays a large part in both my painting and jewellery. There are a selection of workshops available at my studio based on jewellery making, printmaking and painting. Workshops can be a fantastic way to learn a new skill or done as a group can be a wonderful joint experience. I originally trained in Fine Art and now, mostly, specialise in portraiture - the example featured above is of my son when he was five. Most commissions are usually undertaken at my Worcestershire studio. Wouldn't you love a portrait of someone you're close to? To begin with we will start the process by having a personal consultation to discuss your requirements and the best way to capture loved one/s and then you will either provide a high definition photo or I will book in a mutually convenient time to photograph the subject/s. Examples of previous portraits can be found by clicking this link.

I had such an enjoyable morning with Fi making stacking rings. Fi is a patient and encouraging teacher who has so much knowledge to impart. It’s clear she loves what she does and the jewellery she makes is stunning. I came away with three lovely rings and a real sense of achievement. Well worth doing. 😊😊😊

I was gifted a ring making workshop for a ‘big’ birthday by some lovely friends. I had an amazing day, Fi is lovely, very welcoming and quickly puts you at ease. After some instruction I was able to make a stack of 4 lovely rings, which I am really happy with. Fabulous day, and the perfect treat.

Just enjoyed a really pleasant and conversational afternoon with the lovely (everyone seems to agree) Fi. She explained the whole process, was very patient with my over-ambitious attempts and fed me coffee and cake (delicious!). Looking forward to seeing her again when I collect my beautiful (or not!) cat-themed ring!
