22/01/22 After receiving a reply from the owner yesterday to my review I am amazed at how unprofessional this owner is when he states he would not reply to my email of the 7th January even though it was regarding a 'serious' safety issue which could have resulted in an accident. Would he have ignored the Police if there had been an accident? We are the end user of the tow bar fitted by him surely it does not matter whether the referral had come via the garage we had bought the car from or if we had gone direct to him! At the end of the day this is a serious case of negligence it was worthy of an immediate response on the 7th January. In fact it was my husband who took the car to him on the day of fitting. The comment regarding some of the work was carried out outside and as such was not taken inside to be Quality Inspected is a joke, can you not check that the bolts holding the tow bar mounting bracket were all loose outside? I sent the following email to this company on the 7th Jan @ 1.37pm and they have not had the decency to reply!!!! which says a lot. There is no way you can deny such shoddy and lethal workmanship. Well where do I start! I have used you many times before and even referred my work colleagues to have their tow bars fitted, never having a problem. I purchased a Range Rover from Louth Volksworld in November and they kindly arranged for you to fit a tow bar for me. On Tuesday 4th January was the first time I have needed to use the tow bar on returning home from Spilsby and unhitching the trailer I noticed a washer on my drive. I removed the detachable tow bar which was very loose and found the bolt missing and the other 3 bolts were all very loose. I shudder to think of the consequences of what might have happened if I had been towing a caravan then the tow bar would have definitely come off and in the worst case scenario could have caused a crash and even fatality. Today on my day off I took the Range Rover to Louth Volksworld and after an inspection Darren was appalled at the workmanship and deeply concerned, as I was, as to what could have happened. Darren kindly had his mechanics inspect and rectify all YOUR work, making it safe. I have taken photographs which I attach and request you refund all the monies paid. I am also contemplating seeking legal advice on the matter as I believe it to be extremely serious and gross negligence on your behalf. Please advise.

Steve the owner is very knowledgeable and experienced. They sorted my Qashqai tow bar wiring out after a mobile chap completely wired it up incorrectly. First class service would definitely recommend.
