Not good. Polite staff but seating area cold, loud dance music from kitchen throughout, had to ask for menu and twice for bill, parsnip uncooked in centre, some veg cold, extremely dry chicken - overcooked, Yorkshire puddings dense, and when ordered vegetarian burger was served chicken and sent back - awful mistake for them to make. Under new manage but doing badly. Will not come back.

What a lovely Sunday lunch for Mothers Day. We all had beef, which was delicious and the same goes for the Yorkshire pudding and veg. Bread and butter pudding was light and fluffy and the overall experience was really good. Could have done with some quiet background music, but that’s purely my opinion. Will go back for more.

I have been there for several times now. Cant say a single bad thing about that place. Food is always lovely, staff is ever so polite and nice. Nice atmosphere too. Definitely planning to go there again and again

Just been taken over by a lovely couple about 2 weeks ago. Lovely old listed building with loads of character, a cracking atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is really good with daily 2 for 1 offers.

Vast improvement. Makes a huge difference when a landlord and especially brewery start to care about customers!!
