We can supply and lay a selection of different paving, ranging from pressed concrete natural stone porcelain.

Depending on the design, these can be supplied in multiple sizes for a unique look. Alternatively, you can choose an uniformal theme using Single sized slabs.

A circular patio could also be incorporated in the garden design, laid within the main patio or as a stand-alone feature.

We can retain levels using different materials, the most economical way of undertaking this is by using timber sleepers. We only use sleepers which are pressure treated and could last you up to 15 years.

Alternatively, you may opt for natural stone walls and this stone can be supplied in various types, colours and sizes. York stone walls are always a favourite which I have in my own garden for an extremely natural and rustic look.

We can undertake traditional lap fencing with concrete posts and gravel boards, however you may wish to upgrade to a feather board fence for a stronger and more durable boundary line.

There are many other types of fencing we can offer you i.e.  stock proofing, wicket timber fencing, and different ornate timber types of fencing and trellis are available.

Ponds and water features

All of our ponds are bespoke to our client’s needs and sizes. We offer two types of construction, the optimum one would be fibre-glassed on-site, alternatively we could use a pond liner which is more economical.

To create an extremely natural look we can over cover the fibreglass or liner with stone and rock to conceal the liner/fibreglass from view to give a very natural look to the design.

Waterfalls and streams can also be incorporated which will add interest to the feature.

If a pond is not an option we can offer a range of smaller self-contained water features, such as drilled rock bubblers or millstone bubblers.

Pergolas

Again these features are bespoke to you and come in various styles and sizes. I personally have a twisted brick pillar pergola in my garden, with a tiled roof allowing us a dry alfresco area to dine out even on rainy days.

If this is too extravagant, we can create a timber pergola which could either be in a starburst shape, a simple squared shape or a running archway. All of which could be over covered so you can use it in inclement weather.

Decking is an innovative way of using a usable area in your garden. It consists of the sub frame, which can be constructed over the most uneven levels. Decking boards will be placed on top of the sub frame to form a level surface for alfresco dining, sun lounger etc.

The type of boards which could be used can vary depending on the style you would like to achieve.

Grooved soft timber decking boards can be used for a traditional look and because the boards are tannalised they still give you a long lease of life.

Anti slip boards will eliminate the worry of a slippery surface in inclement weather and hardwood boards will give you a long lasting feature for many years. We also offer millboard, which is a composite decking to create an extremely contemporary look.

Artificial turf

If you like the idea of a lawn for all seasons, you may decide to opt for artificial turf. Allowing your garden to be more maintenance free, as once laid there is no mowing, scarafiy or fertilizing.

We use Nam grass which is exceptional on quality and comes in various styles and pile heights,  even catering for pets.

Our standard artificial turf will be laid on  drainage grit which will create a substantial base to avoid dips and hollows in the future.

When required tannalised timber boards or metal edging surround the area, to create a defined delineation.

Driveways

A new driveway can give you property kerb appeal, plus that extra car space is always useful.

There are many different types of driveways available, you could have a gravel driveway for an economical way to achieve a clean and tidy coverage.

We will ensure to supply you with gravel which is suitable for driveway, as not all are. Plus we will always incorporate a blocked paved threshold between the pavement and your driveway to adhere to the highway’s legislation.

Blocked paved driveways are always a favourite, we can offer the traditional blocked paving, however another look you may opt for is a tumbled block for a courtyard effect. These can be supplied in one size for an unformal look, however mixing the blocks using three different sizes give the drive that extra special look.

We can also offer tarmac driveways where we can edge the drive with blocks and then a tarmac expert will over cover the area, with the appropriate depth of tarmac.

All of our driveways will be laid on a base of MOT type 1 hard-core to avoid sinkage at a later date, I cannot stress how important this is and should never be compromised.

Planting

Once all the hard landscaping is completed, we can soften it all down with the planting.

You can be involved in this process as much or as little as you wish.

Plants / shrubs can be very personal to the individual, so we will ensure we liaise with you on variety, size and position.

Your garden can look boring and dormant in the winter months so we will take in consideration with which shrubs will give you colour and interest all year around. This includes varying leaf colour and the different flowery seasons.

Had a pond that was becoming too much maintenance for me so called Karl and we discussed my ideas and he came up with a plan and written quote. I had removed the fish and water and Karl removed all the wiring and liners etc, removed part of the wall to make an entrance, rendered the inside , added hardcore and then tiled with indian slate. Gravel was used to make planting pockets and the step in was bricked up. I was then left to do the incidental jobs and two years later it looks stunning. My own Mediterranean sun trap! Karl and Maddie are a professional team and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. In fact I did and they have done work for friends.

Very happy with the landscaping service provided. From initial quote Karl listened to what we were after and suggested ideas based off his vast experience. A very detailed quote was provided which reassured us of what we had discussed. Karl, Maddy and Cam were great for the 4 days they were with us, the garden looks fantastic and nothing stopped them cracking on with their work. Their communication and professionalism was second to none. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

F2B installed two new large border beds and a bog garden. All exactly as per quote and in a timely manner. Karl has a 'can-do' attitude and the team just gets on with the job. A small 'add-on' was taken in his stride and he went the extra mile to source and obtain some extra edging blocks so that the job could be finished properly. Would use again without hesitation.

We got in touch with Karl and Maddy after seeing the wonderful job they had already completed on several of our neighbour's properties and I'm so glad we did. We already had a design in mind and they worked with us to ensure our dream garden became a reality. Karl, Maddy and Cameron are extremely professional, hard working and friendly and kept us informed off their progress throughout. The project was completed on time and everything was left extremely tidy and immaculate. We are extremely happy with our finished garden and can't wait until the warmer weather comes back so we can really get out there and enjoy it even more! If you want a high quality garden completed by wonderful people then my advice is to book in quickly, you won't be disappointed!
