Terrible service received from Ross Withers from Gastech Enginerring I had a leak in my heating system. Ross came twice and left without localising it, and said that specialised equipment such as a thermal imaging camera would be necessary for the leak detection. He promised to return with the camera to finish the job. This was last November and it started to get very cold in the house, as there was not heating because of the pipe leaking. Despite contacting Ross several times over 3 weeks, and his promises to return to fix the pipe, he never did and eventually stopped answering messages and calls altogether. We then contacted another plumber, who localised the leak immediately without any camera ,and repaired the pipe within 30 minutes. In summary I would definitely not recommend Ross to anybody, as he was not only incompetent but also unprofessional. The service he provided to us was well below standard. Regarding Ross response for this review, I would like to emphasise that we were never told he had covid at the time, and never received any quote regarding the cost of hiring the equipment. These are complete lies written only for damage limitation.

After having numerous engineers out to fix ongoing issues with our boiler, Gastech was our knight in shining armour. Ross arrived when he said he would, he is very polite and professional. Within minutes he had diagnosed my problem and then fixed it for us. I highly recommend this company! A massive thank you from a finally warm household

We can’t take Ross enough for sorting out our leaking boiler over the past 3 days! He came back to us so quickly with the parts and even came out on a Saturday, which we really appreciated. He is such a genuine person who we will be using again and recommending to all our family and friends. Thanks again Ross!
