Before I started with Steve, I felt really out of shape - I was really overweight and was very unfit. From the start, Steve really motivated me and kept me on track. We managed to actually go through the pandemic and follow his training routines. I gradually got in shape gained much more energy and happiness, basically. Steve is especially great at meeting my fitness needs and getting the furthest toward that goal, considering the busy schedule that I have work-wise. Steve also created very effective 30 min routines that I can actually do at home, which has been really, really very helpful. I would wholeheartedly recommend Steve to anyone who really wants to get into shape quickly but doesn't have a lot of time. I think Steve does a really good job of making that happen and keeping his clients motivated.

I started with Stephen’s online coaching feeling defeated by my current routine and lack of progress, my metabolism was slowing down, I was putting on weight where I didn't want to and was feeling low on energy - I'd been doing the same thing in the gym for about six years and felt my routine wasn't serving me. I'd seen Stephen's genuine testimonials and still felt nervous to reach out, but also excited to see what he could do for me. I've always been a bit nervous about the gym, I'm a bit socially anxious, especially in the gym. I feel as a little queer kid growing up, and as a bit of a nerdy kid as well, like the gym wasn't always my favourite place, and I found sports teachers and those kind of people quite intimidating at school, and then as an adult as well. So the idea of having a PT like Stephen, who's kind of at the end of a phone rather than there in person in the gym with you, which I might have found a bit embarrassing, really appealed. I'd seen a lot of his testimonials, and they all seemed very genuine, and it seemed like he helped a lot of people and made genuine change in their life. Working with Stephen has really helped me, I’m getting more compliments which is nice, he's also given me more self-confidence and it's given me more energy and building the structure and the routine with him through the app and through eating and reducing stress and getting better sleep. It's kind of impacted a lot of the rest of the things I do, like all of my job and my friendships. I feel like I've got a lot more energy in the day and I feel kind of more positive and happy. I don't know whether it's the endorphins or whether it's kind of knowing that I've decided to do something for myself and followed through. But either way, it's given me a lot more confidence in myself. I definitely recommend Stephen to people who have maybe been to the gym for a few years and don't know how to progress. The app that he gives you with all the exercises in is really structured. I'm a very logical person. And so seeing it all laid out with the incremental weight gains as you go and adding exercises and taking them away, you can track your progress in a much more... numerical way, which I think is quite satisfying. I think also for people who think that maybe getting a PT or going to the gym, like nothing will change and that your body is the shape it is. I really did believe that too .. I kind of tried this as a last resort. I wasn't really expecting it to do anything, but I'd seen all the testimonials. And so I was kind of hopeful that something might be different. I've been doing the programme with Stephen now for maybe two or three months and I can see the changes and other people can see the changes. I feel a lot more better about my body when I look in the mirror. And some of the some of the stresses I was getting from like approaching 30 have really tapered off as I've gained muscle. And just knowing that I have the drive to commit to going to the gym three times a week and to see it through. I've kind of surprised myself and couldn’t have done it without Stephen! I'm getting to the point now where the routine is becoming my routine and I'm like settling into it as normal. But Stephen's always there with like helpful comments and calls whenever I need to just help me get that extra energy to get over the tipping point and make it work.

Stephen coached and supported me for two years in Cambridge, both on a 1-2-1 capacity and also through technical means. His knowledge, both in terms of physiology based approach but also lifestyle approach made him the perfect coach for my needs at a busy time in my career and personal life. Never will you find a man with more genuine interest an enthusiasm for his craft, a rare gem in an industry filled with false promises and CHATGPT programmes.
