Tried to book a spot for the May 15 Brunch Ceilidh Club. Email response stated they would get back to me shortly...no word. Walked to Ghillie Dhu to find out it was cancelled. Nothing on their website mentioned this. Need better communications. Edit: We emailed and called several times for a booking. The “expectation” was not to be entertained. The expectation was to not have to show up to the venue to find out there was no event. The expectation was the online info was accurate.

We popped into this bar on a visit to Edinburgh and had a very pleasant time. There was a live DJ in the bar and the staff were very pleasant indeed. The venue was very clean and there were two friendly security gentlemen on duty. The decor is very pleasant and it all makes for a convivial atmosphere. It was busy, so others thought so too.

Great food and atmosphere. Great music during our meal and then Scottish music and dance to follow. Great fun!

This restaurant is in an old converted church. the ambiance is incredible and all the servers wear kilts. The bar also runs ceilidhs and has live music.
