Always use this chipper...john and maureen are great...they know my usual order...shame to see them leave but after 40yrs in the game they deserve to retire...only hope new owners keep it as a chipper and are as good. Otherwise woodside is knackered

Food absolutely disgusting! Tiny portion of chips. The pie was like a Puck, rock solid. The king rib and jumbo sausage was scabby and total rank. Will never visit here again.

Reading some of the reviews on here, I cannot report any bad experience. Food (Haddock Supper) was excellent in terms of consistency and flavour. Staff super friendly. Would go again!

wife got me 2 x chicken fritters and a portion of chips, first chicken fritter was exactly 8mm thick and was cooked to the point it was crunchier than the chips and that was the chicken not the batter, the second was the end of the chicken roll so was thicker at points but still nothing like a chicken fritter anywhere else in Aberdeen and to top it off the chips were white and raw! we have used this chipper off and on for years but thats the last ever time, all i can say is i am glad it was not me being served that night as i would have told the server to stick that chicken fritters and the chips where the sun dont shine! IF YOUR LOOKING FORWARD TO A CHIPPER DO NOT GO HERE
