David, Izuk and Anthony are an extremely professional and hard working team. Straight from the initial meeting we knew we were dealing with a team that does a proper job and doesn't cut corners. Our garden was transformed from a lifeless, dull bog that made us feel depressed every time we looked out of the window into an incredible space that we can enjoy all year round. I'm not sure how they did it, but the garden seems to be double the size it was before. I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking to have their garden transformed.

We hired Grove and Sons to undertake an entire garden landscaping and design and construction. David worked closely with us to come up with a design and execute it flawlessly. The garden started as a pile of mud, and then ended up as you see in the pictures below. Here are some of the things I really appreciated when working with them. They were very upfront and transparent about cost. I knew the most expensive option for my design, and the cheapest option - and the pros and cons of each. After a consultation and a few conversations later, we were ready to get to work. Once on site, we went through the final outline and plans and made a few adjustments to our original plan. The guys were always there start to end of day and were very friendly. If I had any questions, they didn't hesitate to answer. In the end, the finished product was, in my opinion, flawless. They may not be the cheapest option, but I am very confident that this design and build will last. The workmanship was excellent. The tiling is immaculate - no corners cut! The rendered retaining walls / garden planters are perfect. Once the job was done, as far as the drive where materials had been for the two week period, I couldn't tell they had even been there. The work area was cleaner than I left it. These guys really went the extra mile. Sometimes it feels like it's impossible to find quality work, but these guys really went above and beyond. I could not recommend them more highly.

The brief was to transform a concrete jungle of a front garden which had a hedge growing right in the middle of the space, making the old garden ugly and in-spite of its size not very useable. David, Izuk and Ant spent time with us to create a basic design, understanding what we were looking for in the new garden. They recognised that some of the features could only be properly decided during the build and then throughout they collaborated to develop these basic ideas with subtle improvements and suggestions throughout to realise a final, high-quality solution. It has transformed the front garden, complemented the house perfectly and blended in with the remainder of the garden and outbuildings. Even with the size and complexity of the work, e.g., digging out over 116 tons of waste, and ensuring the estimate provided flexibility to design some of the details whilst on-the-job, the work was estimated as 8 weeks, and came in within 3 days of this figure in-spite of working during one of the hottest summers on record. The quality of the workmanship is excellent, as was their work ethic and their constant consideration for our neighbours. It was a long, dusty, disruptive job needing multiple large lorries on site accessed via a shared drive in this small close, but all neighbours had nothing but praise for the way they worked. Even when we were on holiday, they continued to be professional throughout The terrace around the house was converted into a useable space. The grass has softened the front of the house and environmentally, together with the gravel, has provided natural drainage. The patio has made the most of where the sun shines at the end of the day, and the steps up to the house, both the front and side doors, were designed to make them a welcoming feature. Finally, the new fence and gates, one swing gate and the other sliding, have maximised the available space and framed the property beautifully. Brilliant job and I have every intention of using them again.

I cannot recommend Grove and Sons highly enough they are so good at what they do. From day one talking to them about my garden they have been amazing, we agreed an initial design and when they started we changed it definitely for the better. They work so hard, the whole process was a collaboration and it was a delight throughout the 5 week build. I am so pleased with the work that I am having them back as soon as I can to work on phase 2. If you want an amazing garden then there is only one place to go Grove and Sons you won’t be disappointed.

Dave and his team were professional from start to finish. Our initial discussions were about how we could landscape our garden from a sloping lawn to a patio and grass area, with a retaining wall and steps. We were encouraged to ask lots of questions and had a few meetings before deciding on the final design. Nothing was too much trouble. During works in progress they worked very hard, through all types of weather. Digging out, compacting strong groundworks for the patio, building the brick wall, turfing, installing drainage, laying the slabs, all carried out with meticulous care over three weeks. The completed garden is exactly how we pictured it and the cost is reflected in the beautiful finished product. It is a pleasure to sit out there, we are thrilled with our outside space! Friendly team, great bunch of hard workers, knowledgeable, couldn't recommend them enough.
