Although they responded quickly and fixed the issue they then billed me twice for the same work . They said it was an error with their IT but then said they had sent me someone else's bill by mistake !! Demanded to be paid twice . Then decided to try and charge me for a free estimate agreed with the electrical engineer who did the call out initially This electrical engineer pointed out some work I should consider and would I like a free no obligation estimate .I said yes and he agreed to come out today and said if you are happy with. It discuss dates In January . He came out did the estimate and said they would contact me Despite no fee EVER being mentioned they tried to bill me . They even tried to say they would listen to the telephone call to organise the estimate but clearly don't what they are doing as there was never any telephone contact . Poor company and really try ripping customers off The reply from Harvey's just highlights the extremely poor customer service . They sent me someone else's bill which in itself is a breach of data protection (GDPR) At that time my son has come out of hospital having had open heart surgery and I was cautious about visitors and told them this in a message So I was not expecting to scrutinise a bill when it came and paid the invoice within a couple of hours of receipt I am not an electrician and didnt get a breakdown of cost at the time it was done and paid the bill Their attitude was sarcastic at the time and this reply simply reinforces that sarcastic tone. It was not a fraction of the cost at all it was around £55 less and after actually getting 3 estimates for further work their prices are a total RIP off anyway .their estimate was double what other equally qualified electricians have quoted As for saying I was told it was a ECIR quote this is a complete lie Firstly they tried to say I was told by phone on 4/12 and they listened to the call and when I said no call took place it was a discussion following a call out which took place in my hallway suddenly their story changes I repeat that noone told me there was a charge it was an offer to do an estimate for work and the engineer said in the hallway it will be about £1000 for the work . By the time these chancers had added £55 for a new smoke alarm the fire brigade are fitting for free and monies to deal with an immersion heater I no longer have plus other things added that were not necessary they managed to bump the bill up to line thelr pockets They say the engineer was here for hours when it was 55 minutes and like to exaggerate like the fraction of the cost comment Finally they rang me trying to find a way to change my review and I was clear that their poor attitude and incompetence stood and I could not put someone else through the deceitful comments and accusations Given that they are still trying to lay their incompetence at my door I am contacting ICO to report my data being compromised Please steer clear of this company and get estimates and only get work done that needs doing Sue

I just wanted to say how fantastic the two engineers (Chris & Jock) were that attended my home recently to carry out remedial work. They were very professional, polite, friendly, thorough and explained all the work that they were undertaking. I felt that they listened to me as a customer and gave good advice on future work that I had asked them about. I would also like to say how brilliant Michelle has been; from organising my safety inspection, to dealing with a query regarding the inspection report, to ensuring that the remedial work was carried out within my extremely short deadline so that I could exchange and complete on my house. I have dealt with Michelle previously on another potential house purchase and if I'm honest, it was primarily due to her helpful, professional and friendly manner that, when I was looking to have another safety inspection carried out, I thought of no other company to do this. All my dealings with Harvey Electrical Services have been a pleasure and I would happily recommend them to my family, friends and colleagues.

Excellent and efficient service. The engineer was extremely thorough and managed to diagnose the problem with the heating system even though it was not a straightforward job. I woukd thoroughly recommend.

Good afternoon Karl. Following the work carried out on my property above, on the 31st. of March, I wanted to mention your Engineer George. I found him to be very professional, friendly and thorough. He worked hard to replace an awkwardly positioned consumer unit and remained cheerful throughout. After he had completed the work, he comprehensively tested all functions, marked everything clearly and ensured I was familiar with the new unit. He removed all residual packaging and redundant electrical apparatus and left with a cheery wave. He is certainly an excellent ambassador for your Company. Kind Regards. David Roberts.
