My previous boiler had failed. I phoned them at night. They came the following morning at 0730hrs, to assess the fault, which was the 21 year old boiler not economical to repair. I immediately had a good quote for a boiler, which I accepted. As it was a Worcester Bosch boiler and this company is an accredited fitter, it now comes with a 10 year guarantee.They came the following Thursday and fitted it. Louis and Matt offer a friendly efficient service. They do not look for excuses, once there to increase the price. Will happily use them for the annual boiler service or other plumbing jobs.

Louis, Matt, and their team were incredibly helpful when they came to address our leakage problem a few weeks ago. They were exceptionally productive and responsible throughout the entire process. I contacted Louis at Helpful Heating for a full service of my Worcester Bosch boiler. He responded promptly to arrange a service visit. This was carried out as planned very professionally. He was courteous and explained the process. The price was very reasonable and as quoted. I would highly recommend this company and was reassured as Louis is an accredited Worcester Bosch engineer.

Helpful Heating lives up to its name, rest assured. Quick to respond, polite, eager to get busy, true to their word, flexible, thorough, best of all competent – Louis was the perfect man for what was in fact an imperfect job... It takes a pro to recognise when doing the minimum amount of work - to save a few pounds perhaps or a little time - can, in fact, lead to more issues down the line. Repairing a leak, for instance, might seem like an in-and-out job to many, a quick valve replacement and – boom! – you're done. But when you are made aware that that leak is in fact coming from an area of the boiler that will need dismantling, that the parts involved have to be procured (and paid for), that the boiler will have to come offline, that it will have to be put back together and that there's no guarantee that any other part of the boiler won't break down (because the boiler, although it looks in good night, is, in fact, at its end of life), you want to be sure your boiler repair main knows his stuff. Good thing Louis was the first and the fastest gas engineer to step up, turn up and lay it to me straight. Long story short: he sourced and ordered a brand-new boiler of the exact same dimensions and power output as my current 11-year-old clunker, except with higher efficiency rating (which the landlord was chuffed about), installed the thing in less than a day without hassle or hitches, did extra work to fit and cement the flues into and out of the walls, tidied up, gas-safety registered my product, and left everything better than it was before, not just saving me hundreds of pounds on what would have been wasted money on parts and labour but also giving me peace of mind for another 11 years for sure. Job done and done well. Which is what you want, right?
