Hollybank Primary School

Marshall is the latest pupil to join the Hollybank family, and he will keep you up to date with how his Therapy Dog training progresses over the next year.  We are so thrilled to finally welcome him, he wants to tell you all about how he will be helping out around school: Michele Millar - 1st Feb 2022 Hollybank is great place for any child to go to school. It is a very inclusive environment, regardless of your child's academic ability. The teachers adjust their teaching to suit your child's needs, rather than your child having to adjust their learning to suit the school's needs. A good balance between its provision of education, and pastoral care, with a big emphasis on the mental health and well-being of all of its pupils. My child has become more resilient and self assured throughout his time at Hollybank. There's no such thing as a perfect school, but this one comes pretty close! It has been a long 4 months battling with my son, who was a school refuser where he previosuly attended. And in just two short weeks we have seen a glimpse of the wee boy we know and love as a family, and you are getting to know. We know the best is yet to come as we know he will thrive in his new school environment, and their first class approach to teaching, that caters to each child's individual needs. I second what this parent has said. My son started Hollybank Preschool just over a week ago, and what a change in him already. Its so enjoyable to drive him to nursery now he gets so excited and he is thriving. They really are such a nurturing school this was felt immediately when we came to visit.
