True heating engineers are hard to find, and the small handful of them around are rightly very busy. Andrew is one of the few engineers I have spoken with that is genuinely passionate about the industry. He does everything he can to help steer it in the right direction, towards things such as low temp systems and weather compensation. Andrew has a deep level of knowledge on all things heating related. His installation work itself is very very tidy. For example, where possible, he would rather attempt a complicated series of pipe bends instead of using connectors/joints. In summary, I highly recommend Andrew :)

We had a new gas boiler heating system with underfloor heating installed by a different local heating engineer about 3 years ago but it was installed with an outdated plumbing design with basic controls that were unsuitable for the underfloor and ran the boiler at high temperatures all the time so never worked particularly well or particularly efficiently. Step forward Home Comfort Assured. I contacted Andrew off the back of his Youtube channel so knew he was the perfect expert to call on to optimise the system with new intelligent heating controls to run the boiler more efficiently along with completely reworked plumbing to work better with the underfloor heating pipework we have. Andrew was communicative throughout, flexible with working hours, saved us money by re-using parts like pumps where possible and overall did a brilliant job for a very reasonable price. Someone with Andrew's level of skill and expertise is an extremely rare thing in the heating industry, 95% of heating "engineers" wouldn't know where to start if asked to design and install the modern system we now have and it's already saved us about 20% on our gas bill last winter compared to the winter before with the old system.

Andrew is an expert in his field, and that shows in the design and quality of his installations. What’s nice is to see the signs of an engineering mentality, whilst he does his work. Engineering is a deeply mislabelled term, sadly, in this country; but what I mean is what Andrew does is not based on hyperbole or speculation. He has vast levels of expertise and experience, but also backs that up with a scientific and results based approach to what he does. That’s the background, now onto my heating system. Andrew specified what on the face of it looks like a complex set up, with mixing valves and weather compensation on a Viessmann 200 boiler. But the system is logical, and its operation is simplicity itself, which is the sign of good engineering; the comfort levels in the house are much greater and it looks like we are using much less energy to do so also! Thanks again!

Andrew has been absolutely brilliant. I had two people in to try & fix a few heating issues in my rental house. Both were a couple of cowboys & wouldn’t give me an idea of cost or time & kept making the job bigger than it was! Thankfully I was recommended Andrew by someone I trusted. All it took was one phone call to explain what I thought the issues were & Andrew explained the various options of how to fix it. He fitted me in, managed to sort out the whole system, having given me a breakdown of his labour costs, didn’t overcharge me on parts. He was communicative throughout, really easy to deal with and the tenant is very happy with the changes to the system. Highly recommend him.
