Don't call this number. It isn't JD Plumbing anymore. You get directed to Central London Plumbers which is a scam. You'll do better finding a local place and verify who you're talking to.

I searched for a plumber online and came across these guys. When I rang up the first time, they had booked the plumber for 5. They required my card details. Red flag! I did not have my card on me so I rang back later and they said he was delayed and would be there between 5pm and 6pm. I rang them at 7:50pm as the plumber still had not arrived. Red flag! You would have thought they would have called me to let me know he was running late but they did not. When the plumber arrived at 8:00pm, it was clear he was in a rush. I told him there was a leak coming from upstairs and he ‘guessed’ what the problem was. I was not comfortable with a guess and asked him whether it was worth removing the bath panel to investigate the leak to be 100% sure of the cause. Red flag! I should not have had to advise him to do this. To be fair his original diagnosis was correct, but removing the panel made it very clear to the exact location where the leak was coming from, which will help me get someone else to fix it. This was about 7mins into him being there and he said as it was so late, his company would have to send him out again another time to repair it. I was paying for an hour and he was there 7 mins and he did not attempt to repair the leak! I cannot express how much of a rush he was in! Again, to be fair he was a nice enough guy, and it was late and he probably wanted to get home. He was in such a rush, that he removed a 2 inch screw from the bath and left it on the floor which nearly punctured my foot in the morning. Also, he did not replace the panel fully. I rang up the company immediately to find out if they were going to return to fix the leak but they wanted more money to do so, and they said they were going to charge me for the full hour £96.12 , which they did, which by any standard is outrageous and unfair given the circumstances. (the lady did say she would apply a 10% discount as he was late, I am not sure if she did or not) In summary: He spent 10 mins at the property. Perfectly polite and pleaset but was so in a rush it made me uncomfortable. He did not put the screw back in (which did not need removing in the first place. He thought it was holding the bath panel in and it was not) He arrived 3 hours late from the time which was originally agreed He did not fix the leak and I was charged £96.12 I understand that there is a call out charge and given the situation I would have been prepared to pay £60, but the lady who handled my call / complaint simply kept repeating the same comment which was that it was company policy. I certainly would not recommend this company again after my experience.
