Established in 1947 by John Herbert May after his work on RAF stations including special electrical installations in connection with fighter command underground headquarters as well experimental air ministry stations was completed.
John Herbert’s son Michael and his wife Marilyn still run the family wholesale/retail shop on the corner of Moor Road/Station Road where they have been delighting customers for almost 50 years.
The contracting side of the business is now managed by Eur Ing Jonathan May BEng (Hons) CEng MCIBSE MIET MIWFM supported by 3 generations of family.
