Have used Shearer's to problem solve extensive wall damp and other roof repairs. Professional from start to finish. Communicative admin staff throughout. Tradesmen all polite, tidy and turned up on time. Work has been good quality. Would not hesitate to use again and recommend.

Got 3 x quotes for a roof replacement, using identical spec and all either rated or recommended companies. 2 x firms, came in around £10,500, J Shearer were over £18k. Recommend people, particularly elderly folks get 3 x quotes to avoid overpaying. I understand there can be some price difference in quotes but nearly 80% represents a significant difference.

Shearer's repaired water ingress in our attic. Pointed chimney and repaired the damage. They also added new facing to the attic room. They were prompt and professional and quickly returned to repair a blip. The office staff kept us informed if there was a delay due to vovid or scottish weather.
