Front & rear gardens for a new Eco house in Winchelsea Beach which had landscape planning requirements for bat habitat conservation. In the front garden is a drought tolerant, coastal inspired gravel garden, and the rear garden has a wildflower meadow, orchard, bog garden and pond. Designed, built and maintained for free by Kristina Clode Garden Design, with the help of school volunteers, this is a floriferous, drought tolerant, wildlife friendly gravel garden which is never watered. It's a feast for the senses with lots of scented plants, different textures, dynamic changes in plant height over the seasons and glorious colour!

We commissioned Kristina to design our garden as part of a large renovation project. We have a long thin garden in an exposed position very close to the coast. Kristina was a pleasure to work with, she listened to our long list of requests, and hit the nail firmly on the head with the first design. Her work on creating the schedule of works, sourcing things for our garden, and liaising with the landscapers was excellent. We had total confidence that she had our best intentions at heart throughout. The level of work researching and sourcing plants that can survive in our environment was astounding, and having been in charge of planting alongside a team of very lovely assistants the finished garden looks exactly like the 3D mock up that was created that we fell in love with. I can't wait to see how things look when the plants are established. I couldn't recommend Kristina enough, she is dedicated, knowledgeable and really cares about the outcome of her projects.

Kristina has done amazing things to our garden! She has taken what was a difficult area to the front and side of our house and made it an absolute oasis. She interpreted my completely inarticulate ideas into a stunning design. She nailed the brief of providing privacy and a feeling of space, creating defined areas but retaining a very natural feel. Her attention to detail is extraordinary. Can't recommend her highly enough.

Kristina knew immediately what was wrong with our garden and how to fix it. She was unfazed at having to retain as much of the original planting as possible and this almost meant the new design looked well-established within a short space of time. I highly recommend Kristina. Our garden was a blank canvas when she started with a few challenging aspects such as a nearby footpath and an electricity pole to hide. She has created a really beautiful garden for us, always taking into account our wishes every step of the way. Her attention to detail is amazing and her knowledge of design and plants very in depth.
