My Name is Katy, I have been in the hair and beauty industry for over 25 years. Including 20 years as a lecturer training the next generation of hairdressers and beauty therapist.Althoug I have training in all aspects of hair and beauty I have chosen to concentrate my skills on hair extensions and nails as this is where I can be most creative, and I do love creating! whether it's taking your hair or nails from short to long, finding the perfect colour extension or designing bespoke nail art as a born perfectionist I'm not happy until your hair or nails are perfect. Hair extensions has been a passion of mine since the late 1990's and for over 10 years I've not only been fitting them but also training others to fit them too!I love everything about nails! having trained in nail services over 25 years ago and completed various courses as the nail trends have changed. The latest being using the amazing liquid builder gel KTS Hair Extensions are the best 100% Remy Indian, Preuvian & Mongolian hair extensions attached by method of Prebonded, Micro Ring, Copper Tubes, Tapes & Micro Weft (a similar method to the branded LA weave method). The Hair is available in a variety of colours and in 14 - 22 inch lengths. Gel nail polish is an amazing, versitile product adding strength and long lasting colour I offer a range of over 100 colours so your sure to fine one that suit you or I can create your own nail art designs using nail hugs, nail wraps, finishing glitters & chromes or even something hand painted. If your hands or feet are in need of a little TLC then i offer a range of Manicure and pedicure tratments, from a simple file and polish with standard polish to to a deluxe mani or pedi with a soak and mask before polishing with either standard or gel polish. Lengthening from a solid bob cut This client had, had her hair cut into a blunt bob but had decided she didn't like it. The underneath section was too short to hold the extensions but with clever placement and sectioning I managed to creat a lovely length and thickness to match her own which blended seamlessly This client had, had her hair cut into a blunt bob but had decided she didn't like it. The hair was both legthened and thickened just enough to create a beautiful but easy to manage set of extensions Thickening sides only This client wanted her sides thickening but didnt want to commit to a full head of extensions. using only 20 bond, Strategically placed to blend seamlessly and allow her to wear her hair up. Minimal Thickening This client was desperate for thicker hair but worried about the effect it would have on her very fine hair, after a thorough consultation we decided to add just 40 nano bonds to give her the thickness she wanted without being too heavey. Extra Long Extensions This client had long hair already but wanted it even longer so she could wear it up and stop using her synthetic ponytail. We fitted a whopping 200, 24 inch nano bonds and sje was over the moon with the result. Micro ring weft This client wanted a weft fitting which was easy to manage. the weft was fitted using a micro ring track to support the weight of the weft and provent tension to her natural hair. The result was a lovely long and thick weft which blended seamlesly. Lengthening with tape extensions This lady wears her hair up regually in a tight ponytail and wanted extensions which wouldn't be visable. We fitted 50 16 inch tapes to give her a natural thickness and the invisable hairline she was looing for. Lengthening very fine hair This client had very fine hair and wanted added legnth and a natural thickness. We fitted just 60 nano bonds to give her the look she wanted. The choice of nail varnish colours is great and I've had my done for 2 weeks now and there's no chipping peeling or any damage to the varnish at all. Very good service and good prices too."
