Nigel Goddard5 StarDidn't know existed until recently as new to the area but really impressed with the friendly, helpful and well informed staff here. A great place for electrical components like batteries, dynamos, alternators, starters and much more and can do repairs to the like also.Seems to me at reasonable prices too so welll worth trying in my opinion.Thursday 6th April 2023

Rhema-Faith Briscoe (Rae)5 StarI was recommended Lancashire Rotating Electrics by AFL in Leyland. I live in Salford and finding decent mechanics/parts distributors in densely populated areas can be sketchy so I’m always happy to travel for good quality service.
My alternator failed on my 1984 Mk2 Polo and finding a replacement wasn’t as straightforward as I thought since my car is no longer on VW parts database. The staff at Lancs Rotating Electrics were so efficient and knowledgeable. I ended up having my current alternator refurbished for the sake of original parts, and it took almost no time at all for them to complete the job. I even got a little plastic bag with the old bearings in (honestly I love keeping useless tat from my car if it’s original) and a receipt showing the costs, and their 12 month guarantee on the refurb.
I can’t stress enough how happy I was with the service they provided and the price I paid. I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone with any starter motor or alternator woes without hesitation.Wednesday 30th November 2022
Stephen Foster5 StarI visited Lancashire Rotating Electrics Ltd earlier Today (14/07/2022) with a dynamo problem on My 1954 BSA "Golden Flash" quite expecting to be disappointed due to the motorcycles age so was absolutely delighted when one of the boys took My issue to heart devoting possible an hour working outdoors to refresh the dynamo ..Mission accomplished & was also gratified and further surprised to find the firm can refurbish such dynamos at a very reasonable cost !
