James Howard5 StarYoung Alarms to the rescue! Following an electrical fault in my house, I was left without electricity, heating or hot water. The guys from Young Alarms Gas and Electrical Services managed to get me up and running in no time. They were extremely professional, friendly and polite. The diligence and dedication to their work was awesome. Malcolm and Tony are obviously very knowledgeable and take pride in their work and I cant thank them enough. Thanks guys.Thursday 14th May 2020

I shall try my best to be factual about it all and as a background I simply wanted to take them up on their quote for work after an electrical survey they did.
Pro: they answer the phone
The rest will be cons:
They never ever have a clue what you are talking about, despite it being their work...
Booked an appointment more than a week in advance. Called to check the day before and at first they could find the appointment and then I was told the man who was meant to be coming wasn't even in work that day. So noone would have even turned up is the sad fact! Then I was offered 'to send the apprentice but not all the work will be done'. Obviously not a realistic offer nor professional. You may as well say I'll send someone who doesn't know what they are doing and we won't do anything quality for you.
Then Bob simply said well you'll have to book someone else and puts the phone down on me. Customer service is not important to them, not time keeping or planning it seems.
Even when I called back and explained to someone else what just happened I was told 'we get a lot of these sort of complaints unfortunately'
But perhaps the biggest overall problem was the actual quote for work has been seen by two electricians since who have laughed at the work and said how unsafe the work would have been.
So if you want a cheap job, probably not up to scratch who probably won't even turn up the first time (read the other reviews) then Bob's your man. I've no doubt he may even reply to this comment like many of the others but trust me, it's all fact.Friday 18th September 2020

James frost1 StarVery unprofessional. They were very late for an initial appointment and failed to turn up for the second follow up appointment. Upon querying why they hadn't turned up they become aggressive.
