M & B Stores has been open since 1993. M & B Stores stocks a variety of products including: newspapers, magazines, groceries, confectionery, wines, beers & spirits, toiletries, stationery, cards & gift wrap and pet food. At Market Stores we are a National Lottery and Health Lottery Retailer, we are also a PayPoint retailer. As M & B Stores became a 'Premier' store in 2013, we now have various promotional offers in store, which are changed on a monthly basis.

Lovely little shop! Long opening hours, great produce and stock, lovely staff, I use this shop all the time. There is also a cash machine inside. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but spaces soon become free, apart from Sunday mornings as its opposite the church!

I've been going to this shop practically since I was born and it's changed hands a few times over the years, but it's still pretty much the same and that's not a bad thing. Doesn't put visitors above the locals, if that makes sense (doesn't faff about with an Instagram worthy décor or trendy but pointless stock, unlike a couple of village shops in the wider area). A practical shop for fundamental essentials.
