We’ve had a really good experience with Made In The Cellar. We got a table and cabinet which are beautifully made and v reasonably priced. The customer service was also excellent, in particular for the bespoke cabinet: initially a small detail was missing (locks to prevent toddler emptying!) but they couldn’t have been nicer or more efficient at rectifying the problem by collecting the cabinet to install the locks. It’s a family company and it was a genuine pleasure dealing with them, both over the phone and during delivery.

Fantastic company who make high quality and beautiful furniture. They were friendly, helpful and great to deal with. The oak and metal dining table and bench were of superb quality and we are absolutely delighted with it and will enjoy it for many years.

I don't often leave reviews but felt I needed to for this company as they deserve the recognition. They were efficient, helpful and would not hesitate in recommending them. I'm absolutely in love with my table. The quality is beautiful and makes a statement in the room. People often comment on how lovely it is. The communication when ordering was excellent and they even agreed to hold onto my table for me until I moved into my new home. The move in date got pushed back but was told it wasn't a problem. Overall a very mixed experience for us. We had some great communications with this company who extremely kindly held onto our table, chairs and bench while our kitchen renovation was finished. It was fantastic that the order was ready earlier than expected and also that they delayed the delivery for us - it was so kind and appreciated. I was absolutely delighted with the order when it first arrived - it looked amazing and was the icing on the cake of our kitchen renovation. However, after a couple of weeks, the table top and bench started to turn green. I was quite disappointed that the only solution to this appeared to be for us to sand down and refinish the table and bench ourselves, and that MITC expected us to pay £40 for the varnish etc. For various reasons we’re not in a position to undertake such a job at the moment, especially since we have no idea what has caused the green discolouring. I’m so disappointed as the table and bench are otherwise beautiful. The chairs (painted) are perfect. Amazing range of options to choose your own paint colours and mix and match chairs, benches etc. I’m just gutted about whatever happened to ours.
