We have bought all our daughters reborns from Mary Shortle. From the time she started to walk to today, this has been our go to shop. Victoria has been extremely helpful, patient and pleasure to deal with. She was very happy to spend time with my daughter whilst she picked her dolls and was also very helpful and professional undertaking a slight repair to one of the dolls. We now travel from Leeds to York to for our girls doll needs. We always have a warm welcome and come away happy.

Hello there, we live in Australia and we recently received our reborn babies from Mary Shortle that we have been excitedly waiting for. They arrived very quickly and when we opened the beautifully presented parcels we were overwhelmed with just how precious and how lovely they looked ,we could not be happier and would like to sincerely thank the staff for there wonderful service. We definitely will be adding to our reborn baby collection in the future from Mary Shortle. Victoria, Mary's daughter, is a fountain of knowledge, and her shop is incredibly abundant with everything from new and antique dolls, imported teddy bears, and other Steiff animals, and even a few baby vampires, and werewolves! She is THE go-to doll person in York!! (And my "big sister"-- age 66) bought a circa 1940's/50's British Chad teddy bear!! Very reasonably priced, even for the non-collector!!

I purchased our first reborn doll for my daughters birthday. My daughter is totally in love and hasn’t wanted to leave her new reborn. We purchased in the sale and couldn’t be happier. Thank you Mary. My daughter has seen your pictures of your shop and would love to come and shop however we are quite a distance away. I’m sure anyone living closer must love this shop though Thank you.
