Melissa did a very good job for us and we were very happy with the result. Melissa was diligent, very efficient and kept us well informed on her plans and progress,especially as the redesigning of our front garden was done during the pandemic when communication was difficult.We asked for all year colour and interest. Winter colours from the plants was very pleasing and we are looking forward to the summer blooms.Our front garden has been completely transformed and will give much pleasure for many years to come. We really didn't know what to do with our small rear garden attached to a new build house. After reviewing numerous websites we chose MMGD. Initially we asked Melissa to provide a One Off Consultation /Garden Inspiration service. The meetings helped us to think through & define what we were were looking to achieve. Melissa worked closely with us to develop the ideas further via the Flash Planting Service. It was Melissa's vision & creativity that ensured our objective of an attractive, colourful garden providing a haven for wildlife, was delivered. We love the end result. Very good value for money.

I was lucky enough to spend a couple of hours with Melissa in my garden. I arranged the consultation as we’re in the process of having new windows and doors fitted and I needed advice on the best way to prune back our existing planting close to the house to allow the work to be undertaken. As it turned out, this was the least of what we covered in those hours! I absolutely loved our time together and the consultation far exceeded my expectations. Melissa is extremely knowledgeable, a great teacher and very good fun! I’m keen to improve my own gardening skills and Melissa took the time to describe to me what she was doing and why, in the hope that I might be able to do it next time on my own. We agreed on a plan of works for the front of the house which will include several more ‘teaching’ visits over the next 6 months. Having made a plan for the front we moved on to a really enjoyable, visionary, creative conversation about the possibilities for our small yard garden at the back of the house. At the end of the 2 hours I felt totally inspired about the future of what is essentially quite a small and uninspiring space. No small feat! I also spent the rest of the weekend gardening. I’m really looking forward to Melissa’s great eye and superb knowledge influencing the shape of our garden over the next few years.

Melissa's One Off Consultation 'Unique Garden Design Advice Service' really helped us to figure out some of the zoning issues and now we are excited to move forward with our garden.
