A friend treated me for lunch, we had a wonderful time! The cafe was constantly buzzing and had fabulous atmosphere. We sat in the corner, watched the world go by- people visiting the charity shop, catching up with friends, it was lovely. My friend and I had one of the plate salads with homemade coleslaw! Unfortunately, they had ran out of new potatoes but that wasn't an issue, we shared a jacket potato instead. The staff were very accommodating! I wish I'd have taken a photo but it was eaten before I'd thought about it! There was a beautiful selection of cakes available too, all baked by the owner's daughter. We originally thought of sharing a slice of Lemon, Raspberry and Meringue cake but we then saw the selection of 'mini cakes' so we had one of those each instead! Well, we shared three between the two of us, oops! One lemon meringue and a Clementine cake each! It was the perfect end to a wonderful lunch! We can't recommend Jill's Coffee Shop enough, we will definitely be returning soon, hopefully to sample the afternoon tea!

Now called Jill's Coffee Shop. The staff are exceptionally friendly and have made us very welcome. Real bean coffee, excellent food, cakes to drool over. Parking on site.

Great selection of food - delicious home made cakes including pre booked afternoon tea with friends or family for a special occasion. Excellent friendly service . Great charity shop there too!

Walked into cafe went to the counter and the woman said, sit down and they would come over, so we did. People were coming in and sitting down and they were getting served. There were at least 3 women behind the counter and not one of them came over, so got fed up of waiting and walked out. Won’t return!
