If this sounds like what you’re looking for from your wedding photographer, my name is Nicholas. I am a Wakefield Wedding photographer that travels all around Yorkshire and the North East. I capture and create beautiful moments for my clients on the best days of their lives. I have a fun, laidback approach to life, and this is how I like to photograph my weddings. I will always make sure you feel comfortable, happy and at ease because I understand that having your picture taken can be a daunting thought even for the least camera-shy person. Nicholas was super professional from the word go. Everything was covered, all questions answered and he completely put our minds at rest about everything. We actually coincidently saw him checking out the marriage venue whilst we were doing our Wedding rehearsal so this put our minds at rest even more as we knew he has already been to look at the place. On the day, it felt like we had know Nick for years! He is so down to earth and talkative that he is just like a friend. We had a few issues with the bridal party when getting ready such as electrics tripping and a lost car key but he helped so much with trying to get the staff to get the electrics back on or help us move rooms and also stop us panicking! Other than the posed photographs we had requested, I can honestly say I didn't see Nick anywhere taking photographs as he is that stealth like. He catered to all our requests throughout the day and it was such a hot day too but he didn't once bat an eyelid. So so professional and the photographs are absolutely amazing. 110% recommend. Thank you so much Nick for capturing our special day and being a part of it! We have used Nicholas for our wedding photos in August this year, Nick is so easy to talk to, making the whole wedding day experience a faultless process. Having gone through our photos, I must say I don’t even recall seeing Nick much around but the results are fabulous! There are some absolute belters, capturing all our emotions through out the day! The pictures captured things that we don’t even know happened, We look forward to picking our pictures for the Album in the coming week or so. Nick you made me cry with joy. The engagement shoot was a great opportunity to get to know how Nick works and go through some possible ideas for the big day. Nick understood our requirements and visited the Church and our reception venue prior to the wedding which helped the day flow as he knew exactly where to get the best shots. We are so happy with the wonderful selection of photographs from the day - the hardest part was deciding which to choose for our album! We would have no hesitation in recommending Nick to anyone wishing to use a professional photographer. So many of our wedding guests mentioned how friendly and personal Nick was and he really made an effort to be part of our big day. Even offering to stop off at Tesco on his way to the venue in case we needed anything! He joined in with the conversation whist we got ready and had a laugh with us all. Great photos and a great service - 100% recommend Nick made our day even more special than it already was. The photos came out better than we could have imagined. Me and my wife aren’t ever thrilled by having our photo taken but Nick always made the experiences fun and made us comfortable every time. We asked for as many candid shots as possible and they are our favourites. The group photos were well organised and the day ran smoothly with Nicks help. Nick took photographs of our daughter and her new husband’s wedding (Jessica and Chris Sutcliffe) in doing so he created memories that will last a life time that will always bring a smile to the face and a happy tear to the eye. He spent the whole day with us unobtrusively in the background but capturing every special moment We will be forever grateful and would recommend him to anyone

After having our wedding photographer drop out 2 weeks before our wedding, we were in slight panic mode! But from a fortuitous chat with a florist and a recommendation, we met Nicholas and our wedding was complete. From our first video call to his regular updates, Nicholas was so friendly, welcoming and understanding. His relaxed, but professional, attitude quickly put us at ease. Though we had only met him once, virtually, before our wedding, when our day came, we all felt like old friends. Not only did he capture all the shots we wanted, (and made everyone laugh in the process), he also caught some beautiful candid shots which have become treasured memories. He also turned around our photographs very quickly. A week after our wedding, we received a lovely selection of preview photos and a week or two later, we had our whole collection of wonderful photographs to view on his website.
