We had a very very brief wait before the optometrist came and showed us into the clinic room. He was very knowledgeable and passionate. His level of care and diligence was actually incredible. At every level he explained what he was doing and checking for. We felt at ease and not rushed at all. a very very professional place.it felt a very personal service and I highly recommend it.Tuesday 1st March 2022

I originally went to the Birstall practice with scratched lenses on glasses I had purchased from them.
I asked for an eye test at the same time. I had my eyes tested and the optician came up with a different prescription.
some months later I found I still could not comfortably use them easily, assumed the isue was with me, and barely used them, relying on my original scratched glasses.
When I had my next eye test the prescriptuion was back to the original so I ordered another pair of glasses to my original scratched lens prescription.
Imagine my surprie when I mentioned on collecting this third pair that I found the original glasses were under warranty for the scratching to begin with.
So, 2 pairs later i have the original lenses (scratched) and frames plus another pair of out of focus lenses, and a replacement set of lenses. so with the return to the original prescription am about £800 poorer and back to where I started.
I raised this with them and was told I would get a reply several weeks ago.
Stay away from this optician. I certainly will.Tuesday 31st May 2022
