We’ve decided to get rid of the double shifts in our kitchen. Yes you’ve read that right.
At Padella we believe that every plate of pasta has to be spot on, and we all do our best work when we are well rested. Now, all our Chef de Partie and Commis will do 5 single, 8 hour shifts a week.
The salary range for our Commis and CDP’s are;
Commis: 28k – 30k
Chef de Partie: 30k – 35k

Giovanna Oseguera Tapia4 StarTasty and fair priced pasta! It’s hand-made and made to order (which you can see given the open kitchen layout).
The main drawback is that the portions felt tiny, so I had to order a second pasta to really feel satisfied. Still the pasta was tasty, and I enjoyed it. It’s nothing crazy or out of this world, but a nice solid reliable (& fresh) pasta spot!
The service was also really great- all servers were super friendly and accommodating!
Atmosphere is nice! We didn’t book enough it advance so we had to sit at the counter- I recommend booking ahead of time so you can get a proper table.

Tessa5 StarThis restaurant has been one that I have wanted to visit for quite some time. Many friends have been and recommend the restaurant, and the visit lived up to the great reputation!
The atmosphere of the restaurant and the service was outstanding and the food was truly amazing! One of the best Italian pasta I had in London!
We chose a variety of dishes to share and they all impressed and we would love to visit again to try more of the menu.
We went for three courses and some wine for this meal but the restaurant also felt like a great space to just go for a quick lunch or dinner.Sunday 12th February 2023
Audrey Kim5 StarIncredible experience! Strolled in around 5 pm, was seated (hour limit) without a reservation. Salty fatty anchovies with crispy toasted bread spread with rich butter. Pasta with nettle sauce that tasted like a sunny afternoon lounging in a soft meadow with the love of your life. Nettle pasta only available until the end of spring. Sparkling rosemary lemonade. Azul Agulla5 StarPleasantly surprised. You can get in the queue online before you get there if you don’t have a reservation. The pasta is SO GOOD. The portions are medium size, 3 between 2 is enough if your having dessert. Wine by the glass or garrafe. Eat by the kitchen bar and enjoyed the view of the team. Mingxun Tay5 StarWe got the mussels pasta and the broccoli pasta. Both were good, but the mussels pasta was better. Drinks were alright but I really appreciated the waitress giving me a tasting portions of the house wines before I picked. Superb serviceTuesday 12th April 2022
